5-Self-Discipline-the secret sauce to all success.

I can sit here and write and tell you that becoming debt-free is a math game, or you can say it has to do with the math and how to invest, but all of this is not possible if you don’t have self-discipline.

It would be best if you had the self-discipline to stay the course.

The first variable is consistency.  You are incredibly consistent in your life; it is human nature.  Many are consistent in a negative pattern of negative self-talk.  And you are consistent and do it every day and reap the rewards of the negative pattern.

We need to change your mindset and shift it so instead of being consistent in the negative pattern and change it to a positive pattern.  For example, if you come home every day from work and sit down and watch television until it is time to go to bed every day, then you are in a negative pattern.  Don’t give in to your negative thinking pattern.  Plan out your evening to spend time with your family, take time to make health your priority or start a small business.  These are much more positive than sitting down and doing nothing but watching television for 3-4 hours every evening is unfruitful.  Believe me, I was there, doing the same thing.  I learned that if I wanted to change my life, I had to change my pattern and do something completely different.

The second variable is perseverance.  When you have decided to set a new positive pattern, and now you are consistent, your second obstacle is perseverance, which means that on the days when you don’t feel like making your new habit, you have to make a choice that you will stick to your new habit.  You need to decide ahead of time what you want your morning routine to look like. How does your evening routine look like?  Find a positive routine.  It would be best if you did not leave it to chance or whim what you would do day after day.  This may be acceptable for one day a month or while you are on vacation, but you should be following the course of action you have set

every other day.  Remember, if you have no goals and no aim to where you want your life to go, you will hit it every

time.   It takes self-discipline to become deft-free and change your life for the positive.
